The Short Version
From cruise ships to Chicago — a quick look at how I got here.
I got my start playing piano bar shows on Holland America Line cruise ships, taking requests night after night for a different audience every week. No setlist, no two nights the same — that's where I fell for the format.
After arriving back in Chicago, I began freelancing with several of the Midwest's top dueling piano companies, including Howl at the Moon, Felix & Fingers, and Twilight Tunes Dueling Pianos. I've also enjoyed nights playing solo sets at Higgy's Bar and Big Shot Piano Lounge, and I perform regularly at Sluggers bar outside Wrigley Field. I still embark on the occasional contract out at sea, performing dueling piano shows for MSC Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line.
Before any of this, I graduated from Millikin University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and appeared in regional theatre productions across the country. I still love taking theatre work when it comes around — most frequently playing Jerry Lee Lewis in the odd production of Million Dollar Quartet.
Whether you're here for my piano bar shows or to check on my next theatrical appearance, I hope you'll stop by a show and say hello!
